Welcome to The Preppy Estate (the “Site”, “Store”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you may access and use our website and purchase our products. By visiting the Site or buying something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site or place an order.

1. Online Store Terms

  • You must be at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence to use this Site or make a purchase.

  • You agree not to use our products or Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • You may not attempt to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site (no hacking, scraping, or similar behavior).

2. Products, Colors & Personalization

  • Many items in this shop are made-to-order and/or personalized. Small variations are part of the nature of printed and handmade goods.

  • We try to display colors and images as accurately as possible, but we can’t guarantee your device’s screen will show colors perfectly.

  • It is your responsibility to double-check personalization details (names, initials, spellings, dates, monograms, etc.) before submitting your order. We copy the text you provide.

3. Pricing & Availability

  • Prices are shown in USD and may change at any time without notice.

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.

  • Occasionally products may be listed incorrectly (for example, pricing or description errors). We may cancel or correct an order if we discover an error, and we’ll contact you if this affects an existing order.

4. Orders, Billing & Account Information

  • By placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and contact information.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us, for example if we suspect fraud or misuse.

  • If we cancel or change an order, we may attempt to notify you using the email and/or billing address provided at checkout.

5. Processing Times & Shipping

  • Most items are made-to-order. Estimated processing and shipping times are shown in our Shipping & Returns policy and/or on product pages.

  • Processing times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be longer during peak seasons or due to carrier delays beyond our control.

  • Once a package has been handed to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, carriers, customs, or weather, but we’ll do our best to help you troubleshoot issues.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Our return policy is summarized here and explained in more detail in our Shipping & Returns policy:

  • Because most items are made-to-order and/or personalized, all sales are generally final and we are not able to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size, or personalization errors entered at checkout.

  • Digital products and instant downloads are non-refundable once delivered.

  • If an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After review, we will typically offer a replacement or refund, depending on the situation.

7. Digital Products & Frame TV Art

  • For digital products (including Frame TV art and other downloads), no physical item will be shipped.

  • You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files.

  • Digital products are for personal use only unless otherwise stated. You may not resell, redistribute, or claim the designs as your own.

8. Third-Party Services & Print Partners

  • We may use third-party print partners, shipping providers, or other vendors to produce and deliver your order.

  • These third parties have their own terms, policies, and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, though we do our best to choose reputable partners.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, artwork, text, logos, and images on this Site are owned by The Preppy Estate or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, resell, or distribute our designs or content without our written permission.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site or our products:

  • For any unlawful purpose

  • To solicit others to perform or participate in unlawful acts

  • To violate any international, federal, state, or local regulations or laws

  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the rights of others

  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, or intimidate

  • To upload or transmit viruses or any type of malicious code

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Site or services for violating any of the prohibited uses.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products and services delivered to you through the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The results that may be obtained from the use of the Site or products will be accurate or reliable.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Preppy Estate, its owner(s), and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of the Site or purchase of products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or products will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Preppy Estate and its owner(s) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements under which we provide you products or services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of MD, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
